Clay Funeral Home - Lincoln Obituary

LINCOLN - Robin Ilena (Pedley) Sabol, 60, passed away May 6, 2017. She was born July 26, 1956, in Lincoln, the daughter of Richard and Marjorie (Deveau) Pedley.
Robin graduated from Mattanawcook Academy in 1974. After graduation, and while raising a family, she obtained her State of Maine Wood Scaler License and was employed by various mills in the area. Robin enjoyed many outdoor activities, including hunting, camping and four-wheeling. She was a trophy bowler and loved to cook and crochet. She enjoyed her time at camp, playing cribbage and watching the loons. More than anything, Robin loved to fish. Her sisters always said that she could 'catch a fish in a mud puddle.' She fished in many beautiful places with her parents and her children, including Newfoundland and Alaska.
Her children were her pride and joy. She worked in the public sector for many years, and her smile was infectious. Robin leaves behind her two children, Sandy Dube and wife, Alane, of Ninilchik, Alaska, and Candace Sabol of Corinth; also one grandchild, Lena. She also leaves two sisters, Michelle MacDonald and husband, Tyke, of Lee, Peggy Smith of Lincoln, and one brother, Bill Pedley and wife, Angie, of Hermon. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her twin brother and best friend, Rick Pedley.
Visiting hours will be from 12-2 p.m., Friday, May 12, 2017, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln, with services immediately following at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Spruce Run-Womancare Alliance, PO Box 653, Bangor, ME 04401. Online condolences may be expressed at www.clayfuneralhome.com.
