Not sure what to say?

Nancy and Family,

We were deeply saddened to hear of Robin's passing. We have wonderful memories of our early life in Fresno when we were first starting out and were neighbors. Robin and Kenny first beginning in practice. It seems like yesterday not 40 + years ago. May your grief be eased with the comfort of family and many wonderful memories.

Dear Mrs. Smit and Family,
How ironic it is that after many years I ran into you and Dr. Smit at Pane Restaurant. I worked for VCC years ago at the front desk and remember Dr. Smit so very well. He was always in good spirits and treated all of us at VCC with respect as well as all of his patients. My work experience there was
wonderful and I have such fond memories. I am deeply saddened for you and your family for this profound loss of a truly "nice" gentleman. May God bless you all...

I am sorry to hear of Dr. Robin Smit's passing. I remember him as a respected fellow resident at Valley Medical center, as a excellent ophthalmologist, and for performing Lasik on two of my children. I admired his running prowess. He will be missed. My best wishes to his family.God be with you and help you through this.

Mrs. Smit and Family,
I am saddened today to read that Dr. Smit has passed away. He was such a vibrant person. He will be missed. Dr. Smit did my Lasik surgery just before he retired. When I asked him why he wanted to retire, he said he wanted to be able to travel and be with his family more. I hope he was able to do that. God Bless all of you at this most difficult time.

Robin Smit performed Lasik surgery on me when his office was still in downtown Fresno. He clearly explained the procedure. He made it possible for me to see the world around me clearly for the first time ever. He was unfailingly cheerful and caring. I am very sad that he is no longer with us. He will be missed.

Mrs. Smit and family,
I will always remember when I worked for Dr. Smit at Vision Care Center. He had the best smile, sense of humor and treated his patients with care and respect. I will pray for you and your family and he will be missed.

Mrs. Smit and Family:
I am so sorry to have heard Dr. Smit had passed away. There is so many things about Dr. Smit I will miss. The most is his love for his patients and being pacient in general. I work for him for many years at VCC. I remember seeing him coming in early sweating after running in from his house. Or hearing him talking about where he was born. Or talking about his military life after he found out my husband was in the military and gone to the middle east. Never...
