Not sure what to say?

Dear Burr - It was a long time ago. We spent a poingnant evening of food and wine. You may not remember us - Chris Karczmar and me, Mary Britton, then a grad student at H. in Anthro. In any case, I will not linger here as it may not come through. Just know that I am with you in heart and sould, and understanding what a wonderful person you married. love Mary B

I knew Robin back at Newton High School as a brilliant, vial, committed, and thoroughly fascinating young woman. You might say I idolized her for a while.

I was not surprised to learn of her accomplishmnts as a scholar and teacher (I chose a very similar path).

Please accept my condolences and expression of admiration for this wonderful person.

My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead.

Robin, you were a strong willed woman who battled bravely for years with your disease. You now soar with the angels (and your mom whom you missed so terribly when she passed away weeks before). The world will miss your wit and wisdom.
