I attended the funeral, which was inspiring . My best memory of Robin is that he stood by Aunt Georgia at her worst times . He was well respected by members of his union as well

I visited Aunt Georgia and Uncle Robin almost twenty-five years ago, with my brother Tom,on a summer vacation from Maryland. We had wonderful conversations about hunting and dogs. I was so glad to have the opportunity to meet him since my mother (Geraldine Carney Russell) had talked about Chief and Aunt Georgia many times. We miss the stories and those who knew them.

Mr. Whitener was a wonderful friend to my dad, Marion Weeks. In recent years, he would phone Dad to check on him and visit awhile. He will be greatly missed. My sympathies to his family.

Chief was a good Uncle. He was always fun and interesting to be around. I always enjoyed him telling about home Indian rememdies that his mom used. We'll miss you.
