Not sure what to say?

Sincere thoughts and prayers to the family. A finer gentleman, physician, teacher, and mentor would br hard to fine. Dr. Fry was well respected by his peers and admired for his dedication and love to his family and patients. May he enjoy heaven.

I was so sorry to learn of Rob's passing and the separation that meant for you, Fran. I remember when you moved into your home on Strawberry Hill in Bar Harbor where we were neighbors. My warmest condolences to you, Fran, and your family. I enjoyed having you in my Acadia Senior College memoir class. Whenever I saw you and Rob I felt your friendship and warmth and your love for one another. May you feel his presence often with you. Love, Carol Woolman

Fran,
I remember when Rob came to our house in Southwest Harbor years ago and brought my husband, Bob, some special sausage he and Rob had talked about enjoying as young people. That was such a kindness out of the blue. We both enjoyed knowing you and Rob in the hiking group where we had met. So sorry to hear of Rob's passing.

I first worked with Dr. Fry in 1988 as a third year medical student. I had the pleasure of working with him through 1993 as an intern and resident. His skill as a surgeon was surpassed only by his empathy and humanity as a person. I enjoyed talking baseball with him. It was my pleasure and honor to have known. We lost a true gentleman.

Dr. Fry saved my life 34 years ago. I will never be able to thank him enough. He was the most caring, knowledgeable skilled surgeon. God had blessed him with a wonderful gift of doing his work on earth.
Expressing deep and heartfelt sympathy to you and your family in this time of sorrow.

The skill and compassion of Dr. Fry can never be forgotten. I believe he was greeted at Heaven's gate by many--canines and Humans--the Doctors and Nurses who made AOH/AOMC such a great hospital, helping SO many people. I believe he is in a place of beauty and Peace that we cannot yet fathom. Sincere condolences to all who are missing him today. He was a GREAT man and patients did very well under his care.
