Robyn: A gifted teacher and treasured colleague. She left her mark on thousands of students.

Dr. Newkumet was an extraordinary teacher, and the foreign language department at LMHS was without parallel. I´m so grateful to have benefited from her tutelage and to have known her as a person.

I was in her French class at Lower Merion 60 years ago, and she was an inspiration I never forgot. I went on to spend my junior year of college in France, and for the past 15 years I take a weekly French class. Condolences to her family and friends.

Robyn taught me so very much about teaching. For my entire career at Harriton, I used techniques that I had learned with her. She was the one person that I wanted to emulate. A wonderful woman who touched so many lives.

As a fellow teacher at Lower Merion High School, I had the highest respect for Robyn. Our condolences. Ted Goldsborough

Chantal Dupuy-Dunier
