ROCCO J. SR. "ROCKY" on April 29, 2006, age 78. Former owner of Sip N Steak and Pitchers Pub of Manayunk. Beloved husband of Vilma "Vi" (nee D'Ambrosio); devoted father of Rocco Jr., Donna Kelly and Vi's son the late Robert J. Myers Jr.; also survived by one grandson Robert J. Myers III. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Thursday 8 A.M. BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. (So. of Grant Ave.) followed by Funeral Mass St. Charles Borromeo Church 10 A.M. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Rocky, It is always difficult when a legend has left our area.
Main Street in Manayunk will not be the same without you strolling up and down the street. May God watch over you at all times.

Manayunk and Rocky's Sip n Steak. After a night out at the movies or at a club, Rockies was where we'd all go and we'd all meet up with the rest of the crowd or other homies. "Sips" in the '70's was a Manayunk icon. Very sad and will be missed. Had plenty of laughs/ memories with Roc and Sip's.(and later Pitchers).

Please accept my sincere condolences on Rocky's death.
I could have wonderful experiences at Sip's because of Rocky and you in 1972 and 1973. I fortuantely could meet him 3 years ago at Sip on Sunday afternoon when I had a business trip in the States.
