Dr. Rocco V. Lobraico

Rocco Lobraico MD was the Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Ravenswood Hospital in Chicago,Illinois when he approved my application to be a member of the staff there. Soon after he became my mentor, my teacher and my friend. He helped me raise my own standards of professional behavior for which I will always be indebted to him. I can't believe it is 20 years since he left us. I still think of him as the strong, supportive, caring mentor and friend, I knew and treasured. He is still missed, and knowing this must be a blessing for the family and friends he left behind.

I remember him when i was a child, (late 50's )he knew my father very well, Ettore "Eddie" Gualano.
He was close to our family, I just saw this obit about his passing. SO sorry for the
lose of a wonderful man. He's with my mom and dad now.. RIP

Although I was unable to attend the services for Rocco my thoughts and prayers were with you. I shall never forget the myriad of kindness he showed me when I joined the staff of RHMC in 1979.
