Not sure what to say?

So very sorry to hear of Rocco's passing. We worked together in the early 2001 time frame. I always admired him for having such a compassionate heart. He was a great person.
Condolences to Lois and the family.

The posts all say it well. Rocco was compassionate, warm, funny and energetic. He had a constant thirst for learning. I worked with him at the Huntsville-Madison County Mental Health Center where he was valued colleague and could be counted on for unique insights.

His memory will be a blessing.

Really going to miss my Uncle Roc. He was one of my go-to people whenever I needed life advice...Always the voice of reason when I found myself getting too fired up over something. I loved to talk to him about his passions: music, film, and of course, football. Speaking of music...a short story: I suspect many of his friends and family know that he loved the album, Days of Future Passed by the Moody Blues. So much so, that he had created an entire slide show of photos he and Sylvia had...

To Lois, and all of Roc's family .. There are no words to express the depth of my sorrow for your loss; indeed a loss for so many of us. I always loved hearing his stories of his family, of growing up in PA, of how compassion can be born in us all. I would not be here today had it not been for my dear friend.

May love and grace surround each of you as you embark on your journeys without him. And may light perpetual shine on Roc's beautiful soul.

All that is said above is so true! Rocco, Sylvia and I were good friends and I have fond memories! We met through Sylvia, as she and I were friends from middle school up. List contact with each other, as I moved tonTN. In our early married days, we had a standing bet with football. Whomever lost the bet would cook the winning couple a former type dinner. My husband and I usually lost most of the time. I have great memories! Sylvia and I once talked my husband and Rocco into going to the...

My deepest sympathy for your loss of Rocco. He and I and Bill Goodson shared many great moments at the Huntsville-Madison County Mental Health Center where he became Coordinator of the Crisis Service. He was a natural caregiver and genuinely cared for his patients, working with compassion and energy. We will all miss this gentle man.
