Not sure what to say?

Had my hair cut at Joe Barca's and Larry's when Scotty's/Rocco's was too busy. Joe and Rocco were the best ever. I wish I had been able to sneak back more often after I left town

I will remember for as long as I live. Rocco made getting a haircut fun! From the time I was 7 years old until I was a young man, Rocco was my barber. I thoroughly enjoyed every haircut on the terrific conversations that made a trip to Rocco's so much fun. Ill never forget Rocco sending me a telegram (the one and only I have ever received) on my wedding day. He was a great man. RIP.

Rest In Peace, paisanu. We never met yet we share the same family name. Prayers and Thoughts for your family.

A class gentleman. It was such a pleasure to get a haircut from Rocco. It was like going home as my grandfather was an Italian barber with a story very similar to Rocco. My favorite memory was the banter with the Frenchman across the way on Front Street who owned the Petit Bistro when Italy and France would face off in World Cup Matches. RIP my friend.I greatly appreciate your warmth and kindness to me and my family.

to the Prestia Family and extended loved ones in Rocco's second home... his beloved Barber Shop. There is nothing more special to me than my memories of my three boys sitting in three chairs and listening to the Italian banter of the Front Street shop when they were little. Hearing of Rocco's passing made our home very sad last night and we all raised a glass of some of Frank's home made wine in his honor. An amazing presence. A wonderful man. A true gentleman... a beautiful Italian! God...

Condolences to the whole family. I remember him as a very kind man. God Bless all of you.

Growing up in Scituate starting in the late 50s, I got haircuts at Joe Barca's, then Scotty's, then Rocco's. They were all great, but Rocco's on a Saturday was a place worthy of being a Norman Rockwell sketch from the Saturday Evening Post. Neighbors, schoolmates, kids on their way to or from sports, Moms and Dads bringing their kids in for their first haircut, visitors looking for directions - with Rocco, Frank and Joe interacting with everyone and especially each other. Simply said, at...
