Rocco Joseph Tenaglia, Sr. passed away in his home surrounded by family on Thursday, March 12th at 11:05am. The epitome of a family man, he was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather who life?s mission was to provide for all those he loved. He was a true, honest, hard-working man who would do anything for his family and friends.
Founder of Tenaglia Brothers Drywall Construction Incorporated, he worked alongside his brothers, Charlie and Jimmy to construct their legacy of numerous residential dwellings throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania and Delaware.
An avid gardener and baker, he was known for making pizzas, biscotti, and sandwiches, having crab feasts, playing slot machines at Harrah?s, and enjoying the New Jersey shore in Brigantine.
Rocco was preceded in death by his son, Rocco Tenaglia, Jr., and his son-in-law, David M. Reczek.
Rocco is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Marietta Rita Tenaglia; his daughters, Valerie Tenaglia Reczek, Marietta Tenaglia, and Teresa N. Tenaglia; his son-in-law, Daniel Lambert; and his granddaughter, Rachel Lambert. He is survived by his siblings, Minnie Pieatso, Charles Tenaglia, Vincent Tenaglia, George Tenaglia, and Louis Tenaglia.
A viewing will be held Sunday, March 15th, from 5 - 8:00 pm and again on Monday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 am, both at the Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home. 15 E. 4th St. Media, PA 19063.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 16th, at Nativity BVM.
