October 12, I was definitely remembering the anniversary of Rocelle´s passing in 2023. Whenever I think of her, I see her warm, bright, charming smile that always conveyed love to whomever she was facing. WOW! She lit up a room and brought a peaceful, joyful countenance wherever she went. What a blessing to have had her presence in my life, fleeting as such moments ever were. My memory of Shelly was that one winter she tried to reach my how to ice skate. I didn´t take to the ice, but having this memory with Shelly has been a wonderful experience to remember. Vicki Brunner Breaux

As one of those many friends Rochelle (Shelly) made in school and retained for life, I was deeply saddened to learn she had left us. Though I have lived too far away from her to be a part of her social circle through the years, I did have the joy to connect with her and David for a very short visit in Peoria in late April 2022.
