Not sure what to say?

I regret I wasn't aware of Rochelle's illness and passing until recently. She and I were close at various times, especially when we worked on projects together, but were not in regular contact lately. She always inspired my admiration and affection -- she was so lively, funny, elegant, imaginative, and deeply and creatively committed to the causes she loved. We always exchanged notes to our families, and my heart goes out to hers now. I'll never forget her -- and I treasure my YES...

We just learned of Mrs. Lester's passing. We will always be grateful for her efforts and support of over the years, as a member of the Alameda Contra Costa Chapter of The Links.

I met Rochelle, on an airplane, Oakland to Chicago, she found out I was an artist and we talked for the whole 5 hours. We kept in touch via e-mail, and she was very encouraging and helpful, trying to help a fellow Chicagoan out...She was a wonderful soul! Sorry for your loss!

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of a woman who meant so much to me. She helped me achieve my dream of becoming a pediatrician. She was director of A Better Chance and helped me to decide to leave Oakland and go to boarding school. She was like family to me and constantly provided support and love. She will be truly missed.

Rochelle will be very missed by many people.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. God bless.

Dear Bill,
Mary and I have just received word that you and family have lost Rochelle. We are so sorry. We were completely unaware of the fact that she was ill.
Hopefully, some time in the future we can see you and have dinner.
Warren and Mary Washington

Rest in Peace......
