A Guilty Pleasure: Wrestling
Rochelle M. Snell was a woman of passionate interests. She had this thing for Japanese films. She also loved everything Scottish and Irish. And she had a secret passion, too: wrestling. She had snared tickets to a couple of matches at Madison Square Garden, where she and her sister Shala d'Aquilar made a vow. "It was like, 'We can't let people know we came,' " her sister said. "Where did this fascination come from?," said Ms. Aguilar, who recalls a sweet-natured kid sister, nearly twice her size, who loved to squeeze her tight. "We're like Jamaican-American." Ms. Snell was an administrative assistant and a whiz on computers at Regus, an office- leasing company in Tower 2. She shared a house with her sister and mother in Mount Vernon, N.Y, where rose bushes and marigolds brighten the front yard. She rented stacks of foreign movies every week, cajoling her sister into watching them with her.

Not sure what to say?

Rochelle...in perpetual memory we hold you up...no one no matter how many times the stories are told will ever know the true magnitude of what occurred on that fateful day, 24 years ago...Only God knows..but I am assured that you along with the others will always be remembered because you are history...continue to rest and converse with our ancestors until Jesus comes back again...Rev Dr Dawn C Snell and Family, Stamford, CT

Every year that this date surfaces, it brings about memories from high school. Gone too soon but never forgotten.

Sweet thoughts of a wonderful human being. RIP Chelle.

I just learned about this page today from one of our classmates. Rochelle, I think of you and your family every September 11, November 15, Christmas and many of the other days of the year.
You were a great friend and neighbor!
I am grateful that I got to know you and benefit from your sunny disposition!

Much love & condolences .. <3

Sending our continued deep sympathy to your family. With each new day may God give the needed strength and comfort as you try to cope. Words will never take away the pain of someone dearly loved but they show that others still care about your loss after so many years. Rochelle will always be lovingly remembered.

15 YEARS.....your legacy will forever be upheld....some of us still question God...Yet, we keep getting the same answer...There are some things that we will never understand....RIHeaven, RMS!

Evon & Bonnie

Hi Chelle, miss you so much hunny. I will never forget that smile. You were a lovely person inside and out. I think of you often and what you and my sister Bonnie would be up to these days. We finally got Bonnie down here in NC now. She's getting adjusted. Your God daughter Missy asks me about you. Wish you could see how she has grown. Your NC family really misses you. RIP Love. Forever missed. Always in our hearts.

Thinking of you and the last day you spent with my baby girl. Prayers and love to your mom and family.
