Father Rock Leo Sassano

Father Rock was a freind to both of my parents and after our dad died 40 years ago he was a wonderful freind to our mother. He was the preist at St. john in Milweaukie and my mother ironed the vestments for father Rock and the alter boys at the time. This pretty much bedcause of father Rock and she also backed him Walnut nut bread often and when I viasited ..bothof us wold have some ggod conversations. His comment to me was: John she is a lot like my own mother; we are kindred spirits...

Father Rock came to our neighborhood every summer for years and stayed with his brother Nick. He was a delight and I loved to see him walking the neighborhood and praying daily! He was an inspiration! We really miss him and know he is with the Lord! Amen. Suzanne Trower
