Not sure what to say?

Rocky, my brother In arms. I am sitting here in Alabama right now just thinking of you man. It has been a very thoughtful night where I am at. I was laughing out loud to myself how I would play pranks on you in our living quarters in Afghanistan. Its been years since your passing and it is still the toughest thing to move on from. Watch over us Rocky like the fighter you are. Until we meet again brother.

We are sorry to hear about the passing of Rocky and are in gratitude to this heroic soldier for his service and sacrifice for our country.

This goes to the family of Specialist First Class Rocky Herrera.

Traci,

You can't begin to know how shocked I was to find out about Rocky. I'm so sorry I couldn't be there for you and your family. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you.

Rocky; It has been just over three years since I gave you my salute and a gut wrenching goodbye to a great leader and brother at arms on that warm fall day at our small dessert base. I have been blessed with this day to again sit and visit with you (if only in my memories) and think of how much you meant to everyone you came in contact with. I am proud to have served with you and to have had the blessing of seeing how much you cared for those of us around you. Though you are missed you...

I toast to you, Rocky. I miss you so much. I cannot believe it has been 3 years. It feels like 30. Today is a sad gut wrenching day for all of us. I hope that you see us and feel how much we love you and miss you. I hope you also liked everyone singing you happy birthday, even if it wasn't your birthday. Visit me in my dreams so we can hang out even for a minute.
I love you brother!
