Not sure what to say?

Ted and family Sandra and I are saddened to read of Rocky´s passing...such a fireball of energy and giving and joy....so likable and impossible to forget. It was the mid-1960´s at Henry Ford Hospital and I was finishing my internal medicine residency And Sandra in the second year of her pediatric residency at Ford. We all became close friends and then got lost in the fog of Vietnam. I came back and completed a full residency ophthalmology and we settled in Maitland, Fl in private practice We...

Rocky was my fellow intern in Rochester I remember her so well and liked her and Ted immensely. Rocky made a decision she would be a doctor was an excellent doctor and a human being to earn respect for herself and her Ted Joe Giere M D

We met Rocky close to 50 years ago shortly after moving to Portland when she became our doctor. We went to her as our family doctor, but as the years progressed, she became a very close friend. We kept in touch through email after her retirement and her and Ted's various moves. We were lucky to finally meet Ted when they moved to Wilsonville. Through our correspondence, we got to learn about their children and grandchildren. We extend our sincere condolences for your loss. Rocky was a very...

Single Memorial Tree

I'm so sorry to learn of Rocky's death. I had the pleasure of being one of her medical partners from 1982 to 1990. She was a joy to work with, her patients all loved her, and she proved to be a wonderful mentor to me as I began my medical practice. She took care of my mother who appreciated her so much as her doctor. I'll never forget as well the lunchtime breaks mid day in the office, typically filled with stories and laughter most commonly about how, as she put it, "my Blazers" were...

My sincere sympathies to Rocky´s family. Rocky was my doctor when we were both a lot younger! She was a wonderful doctor and also a friend and it was a delight to go to an appointment because we would always catch up about each other´s families. We were blessed to know her.

Dear Ted, We were so sad to read that Rocky passed away because we know how much you will all miss her - but we prayed so hard that she would have a peaceful death and so we´re comforted to read that you were all with her as she passed into eternal life. As we all know, her family was the most important part of her life and she was so proud of all of you. Just a thin veil separates her from all of you now and I thank God for the knowledge that we all will be reunited one day. Will be...

Dr. Jastak was a wonderful person, as well as my doctor. Her love for her family was always a subject of our conversation. So sorry to hear of her passing. Love to her family.

I loved Rocky as my doc and coworker at Holladay Park. I will never forget meeting her for the first time as my doc; seeing her behind the front desk of her office in jeans, I thought she was the receptionist. When I came out from having an EKG done I saw she was cutting my 5 yr old daughter´s bangs. Such a cute lady. I miss her and am sorry for your family´s loss.
