Roddrick S. DARDEN

I never met Roddrick but I only talked to him on the phone. He called me and said he wanted to join the Virginia Army National Guard because he wanted to be a Soldier and to serve our nation. I called him today and found out from his cousin that he had passed away. I am so sorry for the loss and my God be with him and his family at this hardest time. My father passed away recently due to the same accident so I know how it feels to lose a love one like this. You are in our prayers.

I am so sorry to have lost Rod. He was a great kid. I worked with him and am pleased to say that I did know him. My condolences to the family.
