Not sure what to say?

Rod and I were high school friends at Malvern, another friend sent me his obituary notice, my condolences, although late, are sincere. R.I.P ROD.

My deepest sympathies for the loss of this wonderful man. He never failed to laugh and to make me laugh every time I saw him. I will miss his easy smile and breezy charm. Our community is diminished, and we carry forward as best we can without him. Rest In Peace friend.

My sincere condolences to Rod's family. I'm saddened to hear of his passing.
Michael Smyth, Malvern 64.

Zest and Zen: Rod was a near perfect combination of the two. He charmed the birds from the trees, taught us much about life and living and will be missed always.

My sincere condolences to Alex, Rebecca and the rest of the Armstrong family.

Good son, father, brother, athelete.Had many interesting conversations and fun times with him.Mostly he was just a good friend that I never got to see enough. Rest in peace.
Dennis

Each time I had the privilege to speak to Rod, I left the conversation either laughing or smiling.. He and I shared a love of DVDs so I could understand to collect them to the max. Thanks Rod for the wonderful memories.

HEARTFELT condolences from an old Beach resident who boarded at 71 Leuty back in '69-'70 and '71. Always grateful for the time I lived with the Armstrong family. Rod was a great guy! Irrepressible, funny, and kind. His character really comes through in this obit.

Great guy and friend....
