Not sure what to say?

I was send the article by my Canadian friend Chris from Winnipeg and after reading not only Tam's tribute but the four others mentioned it made me sit up and take notice. I remember the eulogy I wrote for my Dad and had a terrible time finishing it through tears, so I do believe that delaying such a tribute would have been not only better but delivered with my true feelings not hampered by grief. Thank you Tam for making that clear and may Rick (Rod) rest in peace.

I never had the pleasure of meeting your brother Rodrick, nor do I know anyone in your family, but I read your beautiful tribute you wrote for your brother and it touched my heart so much that I just had to write and send Love and Light to you and your family. Having my own big brother that I love dearly, I can only imagine your heart break of losing yours. I am very sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing such lovely memories.

I was a friend of Rod for a short time in his life. I worked with Rod at HSC and become close friends with his family. We had some very good times and will always remember and cherish.

Thank you for sharing your brother with us. Just read your article in the Globe and it sent me searching for Ricks obituary. You are right. It is never too late to honour missed loved ones. Look forward to reading your book.

What an extraordinary and warm person Rod must have been. I'm glad that you decided to share your memories of him of him with the world. Thank you.

From the account of your stories shared of your brother, what a full life he lived in his 19 years Tamara. His loss must have been so devastating, yet what a gift to have all these wonderful memories of him. Thank you for sharing to even those of us who did not know him. I see many of his characteristics you have described in you as well. A beautiful soul

Growing up as sons of radiologists and living within a block of each other, Kevin Cleghorn, Rod and myself spent a lot of time together. ... especially on the field at laidlaw. Used to have a lot of pick up football games. Thoughts are with you and great tribute!!!

That was a beautiful tribute to your Brother. My oldest brother just passed away this month but knowing he is not suffering anymore is a comfort. You sure have a way with words. Your brother is proud of you.

I shared this obitz with my family, who is composing a memory book of my parents. It will re-affirm the value of their efforts. Thanks for sharing your memories of Rod...a real gem! Rod's memory will live on through your efforts.
