Mr. Roderick Roberson, age 80, a resident of Washington, NC died Sunday December 1, 2019 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
A funeral service will be held Thursday December 5, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall in Washington officiated by Tony Congleton. Burial will follow at Pinewood Memorial Park in Greenville.
A visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday until the funeral hour at the Kingdom Hall.
Mr. Roberson was born in Beaufort County on June 22, 1929, son of the late Joseph A. Roberson and the late Daisy Louise Ball Roberson. He was a graduate of Washington High School and retired as an electrician at Hamilton Beach, formerly of Washington. He was a member of The Kingdom Hall of Washington.
In lieu of flowers it is requested for memorial contributions be made to Christian Congregation Kingdom Hall, 1732 North Market Street, Washington, NC 27889
