Dear Semrads, One of the great gifts in life is generational friendships. My husband and I met Rod & MA through my dad, Bill Ardizone. They went waaaay back, and I had always heard so many fun stories of their escapades. When Rod & MA made the trip to my adopted hometown of Vienna, Austria, of course we had to meet! The 4 of us became fast friends, and had the most wonderful time together. So much so, they came back a day early from a planned excursion to spend another evening together....

I am deeply saddened to hear the news of Rod's passing. He was a good man, great teammate and a friend. I will forever cherish the memories of our trips to Mexico as the Catavina' Washouts. I will always remember Rod coming to get me on the dry lake and the time we spent getting back to ensanada. I also had the privelage of spending time with him in San Diego interacting with fellow veterans and having engaging conversations about his life, travels, business and all sorts of topics. I...
