Not sure what to say?

Dear Pat, Although I only met Rod in July, I so enjoyed talking with him at Jennifer's house. He was interesting, very upbeat, and good to talk to. I know you and all the family will miss him so much. And I was so pleased that you came to Rhoda's memorial gathering. Seven orchard families were represented.

I met Rod 62 yrs. ago and we were good friends and had many pleasant early memories. I just want to let you know that I'm very sorry for your loss.

Dear Pat, Dwight and Terry - I loved Rod dearly as he was like a Dad to me and my siblings for all of our lives, as you are a part of our family. We miss him so much, as I know his doggie Banjo must be feeling as well. Rod is now with our Lord and is at peace. Please know my warmest thoughts and prayers are always with you and your family. With love, Wendy Birkinshaw Korman

Terry, I was sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. Although we have not seen Rod these last few years, I was aware that his health was slipping this past year. We had some fun times at Oregon football game 'tailgaters'. We would see one another at Shell functions and Oregon Petroleum Marketers meetings. Your Dad was a well respected and successful business man.
We send our condolences.

My closest and best friend of 65 years has passed and is now in a better place and I know he is at peace. I will miss him every day of my life. Rod was like a brother to me and we shared our innermost thoughts and plans for our future and for our families future. I am sure that we will cross paths again sometime in the future. I just loved Rod, and I considered him to be like a second dad, (although I am lucky enough to have the *other* consummate father, myself). I hold you, Pat, Terry and Dwight, in my heart, as part of my extended family, and I wish for you the comfort of loving friends, gratitude for Rod's magnificent life, and lasting wonderful memories. With love from Debra

Terry and Dwight, our thoughts and prayers are with you. I will always remember fondly the numerous times your dad took me sailing on Klamath Lake as well as his love for the Ducks.

Rod I remeber well from my days at Columbia Prep. I too caddied in those tournments, but not for Ben Hogan. He was a great guy and I always wondered where he lived.
