Not sure what to say?

Donna, we are truly saddened by the loss of Rodger. I regularly think back on how kind he was with our family and always had a bright smile on his face when he greeted us. He would always be diligently working on his computer and had a great work ethic, though he regularly paused his work to chat with my mother and I. Your family and Rodger are in our thoughts and prayers. I know this is a very trying time filled with grief but I believe Rodger is looking over you and your family with a huge...

Please keep me in the list for the summer celebration of life.

Best wishes

I had the great privilege of working for Rodger from 1979 to 1984 at CBG. I shared many projects under his supervision and tutelage as a mechanical engineer. It wasn't until years later as a project manager for Intel that it really hit me how much I learned from Rodger. We reconnected on a Cycle Oregon trip in the early 90's and created a meaningful personal friendship that lasted to the very end. How fortunate was I. We had many conversations over lunches at a McMenamin's that were wide...

Dear Donna & Family,

So very sorry to learn of Rodger's passing. Such fond memories of our girls growing up together & always thought Rodger was one of the "good guys"! Loved occasionally running in to him around the neighborhood in later years & know he will be sorely missed by so many. Tenderly may time heal your sorrow & gently, may peace replace your heartache. My most sincere sympathy to you & all of Rodger's family.

Rodger and I knew each other through ASHRAE and various HVAC projects over the years. I always enjoyed his dry sense of humor and had the utmost respect for engineering abilities and integrity. I’ll miss him personally and the industry will also miss one of the true leaders in the consulting engineering business.

Donna, My husband Rick Hartung and I worked with Rodger for several years at CBG. He was a kind and caring person to work for, the consummate professional and he had integrity in his professional and personal life. We both liked him very much.
We are very sorry for your loss. Rodger was a special person and I am sure your family feels that loss deeply. Our sympathies are with you.
