Ah Wong, Lan, David, John & Paul send our love, thoughts and prayers for the Shays to find comfort in the LORD. Mr. Shay made it all possible in helping us move to the states from Hong Kong in the late 70's. Mr. & Mrs. Shay and family received us into their home with open arms and heart, providing employment and friendship that made us feel like family! His kindness and gentle spirit will be greatly missed. We are thankful for God to use him so greatly in this life bringing so much...

Love to all the Shay family. Mr Shay was a true inspiration and I know you are missing him very much. He did a tremendous amount of good on this earth, and leaves a beautiful legacy that shows what it really means to love God and one another. May you be blessed in comfort with the knowledge he has passed into eternal life.

The Howard Clan send their love to all of you. Rodge is with his BFF now, Big Al, watching over all of us.
Rodger was successful in every aspect of his life. His marriage, his family, his career, his devotion to his religion. Quite a guy.

Hi Grace
As you know, Rodger and I go back many years as members of that great Xavier class of 1954---I have many fond memories of those years, including visiting you in the early 1960s at your home on Long Island, then at your home in Coral Gables in the early 2000s for a Xavier get together and of course at the many Xavier reunions over the years--take care of yourself and your family, Grace during this difficult time in your lives. Our prayers are with you.
Stay well

Mara Ryan, Guy, Emma, and Sydney Eckert send their thoughts and prayers to the Shay family. "Big Rodger" was a true patriarch !

I had the pleasure of working for Rodger for 13 years with Shay Financial. He was a kind and gentle, gregarious man--someone I both respected and admired. I know he will be missed not just for his business acumen, but for the incredible person he was in the community and church. God bless Rodger and his family, and may he rest in peace.
