I grew up across the street from my "Uncle Rod" and "Aunt Mary" in Ohio...and later across town from them in Mississippi. I looked forward to tagging along with him and my dad when they went to Lakeview HS football games...or tinkered with cars. He had a quick wit and was a storyteller. He was a beloved icon of my early years...who will be remembered fondly and sorely missed.
