A big hug from Spain to Lane And family

This article is a true tribute to the life of a great and highly intelligent man who unselfishly and with great conviction contributed so greatly to the American society. It was a privilege and honor to have met him and have shared such great life moments with him and his family. A class act and a true gentlemen with a very unique “joie de vivre”, and always with great sense of humor. A life so well lived! May God grant him a well deserved eternal rest by His side!

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

My sincere condolences to the Cook family for the loss of one of Atlanta's great leaders. With warmest regards,

Our deepest condolences for your loss, and please know it is a loss shared by all. Your father was a man of great integrity, foresight and compassion. He envisioned a world that could be, and through the courage of his convictions made his vision manifest - and did it with the generous spirit, grace and good humor of a true gentleman. He leaves this world a better place than he found it, and his enduring legacy is a gift to us all.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

It's been a pleasure working with you for the past 53 years old friend. Thanks for including me in the GOP family in 1960 and for all your efforts in behalf of Atlanta, Fulton County and Georgia.
