Please accept my heartfelt condolences for the loss of this wonderful man. I fondly remember Rodney as always smiling and so gracious. I am blessed to have known him through my friendship and working at NASA with Sandy.

What a wonderful man, great husband and father-a real Christian man. I know he will be missed, my prayers are with you Sandy and family.

Sending my love to you all, such a huge loss for your family. Rod was such a wonderful person. Karen, you and I started our lives in the same hospital and have always had the connection forged by our father's friendship. The relationship they had was treasured by my Dad and I know he is missing his friend immensely. xoxoxo

During our student days at Va Tech, tall and thin Rod exhibited the assets of athleticism and intelligence with caring humility. It was great spending time with he and you at the 50th reunion. It is amazing how permanent those long ago friendships influenced many of our lives.
