The Best Is Yet To Come!

The most precious gentleman Ive ever known. His love for the Lord showed throughout his life. I just bet he and Billy Graham have a lot to talk about! Rip! Love you Pastor

Just read of Brother Duron's passing from this life to his home in heaven. No words can express my love for him. I was a young girl when I first met him and his family. Eighteen I think. I spent lots of time in church and their home. Such love of God, family and others was unmatched. My heart warms when I think of him. I moved away and visited some for a few years but had not seen him for about 15 years. He showed me what a Godly man was. Enjoy heaven my sweet, gentle Pastor. Love Molly Hayes...

As I was surfing the web I was sadden to hear about Pastor Duron had passed. My children & I went to the church when my husb was stationed @ Barksdale AFB in 87-94. I always say that my Papa was a walking Jesus, however I felt the same for Pastor Duron. I had never forgot the church & how the Duron family was a blessing to our family. I know that Pastor Duron was so welcomed in Heaven. May the Lord bless your family!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Words are so inadequate to convey what "Pop" and "Mom" have meant to Linda and I. One thing I know - there is shouting in Heaven because a "saint has come home". Thanks, Pop, for loving us more than man's tradition. Love Dave and Linda Edwards

I have many wonderful memories of First Assembly and being in the Duron's home. Years after leaving Shreveport, I "happened" to run into Bro Duron at a hospital. My father was in ICU after being airlifted in after a bad wreck. What a sense of relief to see that familiar face! And even better, to see the improvement in my father after Bro Duron prayed for him! What a sweet, faithful servant of our most High God! He will be missed by many! My prayers go out to all the family!

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
