Rodney loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, friends, and family.  He greatly enjoyed fishing and watching as many sports as possible, especially football.

Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Rodney's passing. He was such a wonderful guy in high school. I had 2 classes with him and he was loved by all. Sending love to his family.

Rodney was a wonderful young man. He graduated High School with my oldest daughter, Sherry. And they were good friends!! One thing I’ll always remember Rodney for was how he was so friendly and always acknowledged us when he saw us. He would stop and take the time to chat for a few minutes when we saw him. Very polite!! We have prayed for his family!! And we will meet again someday!!

Gone way too soon but NEVER FORGOTTEN. I Miss you Friend. You will Forever hold a very special place in my heart. If I wanted a good laugh I could always count on Rodney. He never called me by my first name. I was always Dunlap. I'll miss that great smile. Rest in peace my dear friend.

I Love You Rodney Garrett. My little cousin. May the love of God surrounds you.

I pray for the family and may the Lord bring peace and comfort during this time. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Dana,
Sending healing prayers to you and your family in this time of sorrow. Love you like a sister

My heart aches in the passing of Rodney. I will forever think of him as the truest of friends and someone who was always there when needed. Few people can reflect on their elementary school years and recall the place real relationships formed. It was always safe knowing Rodney was around. And he was. He will always be on my mind and in my heart.

Bradford, Nikki & Family..deepest sympathy in the passing of your beloved Dad and Grandpa. Hold all those special memories close to your heart. Lots of Love, Uncle Steve & Aunt Anne xo
