Read MoreI worked with Rodney at Bellsouth and found him to be one of the very nicest guys I have ever met. It didn't take long to learn just how much his family meant to him. He was such a pleasure to be around. Rodney will be greatly missed by his family and friends that knew and loved him. I pray that all will find comfort in knowing that he was both loved and respected by so many.

I feel blessed to have known Rodney. He loved his family more than life itself. He was honest and very loyal to everyone. I will miss my long conversations with him about our kids, grands, dawgs and electronics. RIP my friend!

So glad we were able to visit with Rodney on Wednesday afternoon before he was discharged from the Hospital. He was one of the finest men and close friend for over thirty years. We will surely miss him.
