Rodney Hovey

Rod, you were a man with a mission, always busy, so much to do, no sense wasting time. I remember you best smiling as you made the ladies soup and served us as well when Pat would invite all the Bethel girls over for a time of fellowship. It was always a blessing. Just thinking, Heaven is a wonderful place. I'm sure your using your time well.

our sympathy goes out to Hovey family for their loss. we have fond memories of Rod from our many decades of working together at USPS. he was the nicest guy! also ran into him at Red Cross blood drives. RIP Rod Hovey

You are missed by so many. You were always so involved with family, church, friends. You truly extended yourself to others and made it a priority to see others included. You must truly be enjoying heaven praising the LORD and encouraging old friends. Pat, I am praying for you and your family. Please know that you a loved, first by the Lord and then by many friends. Our cribbage club will never be the same without your Rod as our leader. You were a very kind and gentle friend to everyone and tolerated all of the different personalities that were present in both the cribbage club and the euchre club. I joined your cribbage club shortly after you started it 19 years ago and you were so gracious to my level of cribbage knowledge or lack of. I am so sorry Pat for you and your family's loss. He was a very good and kind man.
