Read MoreRod was the best neighbor ever! Who else would build an extra gate just so he could come over and mow your yard! He and Shirley were so helpful from the first day we moved in 30 years ago. Our kids thought of them as an extra set of grandparents as they went over often for treats...we will miss him deeply and we truly appreciate all that they did for our family ....(Sorry we can't be at the service)

I'm so sorry about Rod's passing. As the twin brother of my brother-in-law I got to know him pretty well. I didn't get to see him often, but he and Ron were were together they were such characters. Always joking and making you laugh. Some of their stories are totally crazy and funny. We'll all miss him a lot.

Johnson Family - I worked with Rod at the School District and enjoyed his many stories. He always had a smile on his face and often spoke lovingly of his family and friends. My sympathies to you all.
