Rodney Michael Lund

I remember Rod from our school days. He was a wonderful guy. My deepest condolences to his family.

I only fished with Rod in Alaska for only a couple seasons but he was the kind of person who made a lasting impression. One of the most kind, thoughtful and empathic people I´ve ever known, and a great storyteller to boot. He once gave me advice that literally changed the course of my life for the better. Thank you Rod. You will be deeply missed by many.

Such a quiet and gentle person that always had a good word to say about everyone. I am the husband of his wife's sister and while I did not know him all that well he was always someone that I could talk to about the affairs of the world, the price of corn in Kansas or the weather for tomorrow and always have a good conversation. A glass of red wine is being raised in your honor my friend.

We both fished with the Great M.Tomich and we both had some pretty good storys about that ,I will always remember you! RIP

Rod was a caring brother who kept in touch with his ailing sister, Sandra, throughout the years, always there to support and encourage her. He will be sorely missed by his Aunt Roddell also, as he texted and called often. Such a dear soul.

My heart reaches out to the family. My prayers for you at this time.
