Rod was a hard working person who loved his family and his country. We were close friends and enjoyed being around him for more than 40 years. The Rummel Family will truly miss Rod.

Rod was a very loving cousin. He always had a hug for me when we were in our teens as we grew up together. I have so many happy memories of holiday dinners with him and his family. We shared good food, music and much love. When I get to heaven I'm going to hug Rod! Barb, Tim and Jackie, we love you and you are in our prayers.

What an honor it was to be by his side during his illness and blessing him as he was wheeled out of ICU to Hospice House. He squeezed my hand. Sweet family. Love, light and prayers continue for the family,

Barbara and family, I’m so sorry for your loss. Rod truly was a kind and loving man. I had to smile when I read in his obituary about his wit and putting a smile on others faces because that is what I will really remember most about him. God bless you all in your healing.
