Not sure what to say?

While we only met twice during west coast, Seattle visits it was clear he would be a family member worth knowing and remembering. He's connected via the Gerber, Sachter, Newman connection to my Aunt Ruby Sachter (Portland, Seattle) and then to me via marriage through Ruby's husband David Sachter to my mother (his sister) Sylvia Sachter Gilbert. May has memory be a blessing.

Rodney and i met on a past trip of his to Seattle. We are cousins through Ruby Gerber-Sachter and David Sachter. Ruby and David's daughter, Dr. Elaine Newman Sachter found Rodney and reached out to him. During a visit to Seattle we met. It was a pleasure and wanted you to know he is well remembered. Sincerely, Cousin Jay Gilbert / Tigard, Or 503.701.2600 / c

Rodney is a distant cousin who came to visit us on the west coast some 10 or 15 years ago. My cousin Elain Sachter Newman (Seattle) found him and kept in touch to the point he came to visit her and her family in Seattle. My family and I drove up from Portland to meet him and get to know this extended part of our family. Rodney was wonderful to meet and I have fond memories of our short but meangingful talks during his visit many years ago. Elaine has a sister Sheryl who lives in Sister,...

Condolences on your loss. Although we only meet once when he was in Seattle, it was a great pleasure and had hoped we'd meet again. We are your Oregon, Washington cousins and hope at some point you'd like to meet and connect. My family and I are in Oregon while my cousin Elaine Sachter, Newman is in Seattle and was the original person to discover Rodney and our connection. He will be fondly remembered by us through his brief visit. Sincerely, Jay Gilbert

Rodney Moss was my first boss. He was a kind man and he gave a kid a shot when he didn't have to. Thank you Mr. Moss, you will be missed. Dan Catone
