Not sure what to say?

Sherry, you may remember me from our law school days at SMU. I was saddened to hear today, from Rick O'Neill, of Rodney's death. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Sherry,

You and Rocky and the rest of your family remain in my thoughts and prayers. My dad died after a long battle with Kidney Disease in November 1999, so Rodney's illness and death were especially touching to me.

Rodney was such a great guy. From Bowie Jr. High until today - such a strong person. Although Rodney is better off now, WE have all suffered a real loss.

God bless you - all.

Sherry,
I just heard today, or I would have been there to pay my respects. I have read the guest book entries, and I want to add my condolences. I communicated with Rodney via email in the last couple of years, also. He was very, very proud of Rocky, however, he was also very proud of you and your accomplishments as an artist. I wish I had saved some of the emails so that I could share them with you now! Take care. Hope to see you again one of these days.

My deepest sympathy to the Owens family with the passing of my "Tiger" teammate ; classmate and president. His spirit ; compassion and humor will never be forgotten in my heart. See you in Heaven Rodney!

To Rodney's family and friends that shared his life. May God hold you tight in his loving arms when you feel sad and lift you up to rejoice in the knowledge that through your memories he will never be far.
Sincerely, '68 Classmate

I'm very saddened to learn of Rodney's passing, but I know he's in a far better place where there is no pain and suffering. I want to express my condolences to his family.
