Rodney Pittman, 59, died Saturday, August 11, 2018. Rodney was a native of North Carolina and had been a resident of the Peninsula since 1975. He worked for Papa John’s Pizza for 18 years. Rodney loved fishing, NASCAR, the Miami Dolphins, WWE, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Edwards Pittman; and his brother Thomas Pittman. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Bonnie; their children, Tina, Brian and Ian; his brother Rick Pittman; sisters, Linda Cash and Pat Pittman; and two nephews.
Viewing will be Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 1-2 PM, with a service immediately following at 2 PM at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA 23669.
