Rodney Jack "Rod" Schmidt

We will remember Rod as a quiet man with much to say to those who listened. We remember his keen intellect and willingness to consider the possibilities, that he was guided by both faith and reason. Rod had a great sense of humor, and he was humble, despite his many talents and gifts. We will remember his empathy for those less fortunate. And we know that Rod was devoted to his family, who will surely miss him dearly as they keep him in their hearts forever.

I worked with Rod and Ellie several years ago after my retirement from WFISD! He was a good man! Condolences to Ellie, Kate and the rest of his family!
