Glenda and I extend our prayers to you and your family at this time. Rod and I grew up together from elementary school through high school. Growing up we had a lot of fun together playing baseball and listening to music. East High was the most fun and Glenda and I are glad to have counted you as a friend.

Rod and I shared special times a lifetime ago. He introduced me to the "good music" and helped me grow into the person I am today. Lavere, he was one of a kind, and a caring son, but you know that better than anyone. Jamie and Jennifer, your dad loved you will all his heart and soul. And finally to Shela, even though we've never met I just want you to know how happy I was that Rod found his way into your life and that you were there for him. God Bless you all.

Our deepest sympathy to the family. Our Prayers our with you.

Thanks to Rodney I enjoyed a Kinks concert and was exposed to several types of music growing up. I was a neighbor and best friend to Jennifer for several years. I would visit Rodney with her on some weekends and want to let her know I am praying for her and their family. We are thinking of you at this time. Your father was one of a kind!
