Not sure what to say?

Rodney was a good and decent shipmate, not to mention being a good man. Unlike most of us in those days, Rodney never swore or acted up as many of us did in those days. I regretted the day I last saw him at carwash in Round Rock some 25 years ago, by which I had not seen him in 10 or so years before...and I just did not recognize him!! He recognized me however, introduced me to his daughter (who was a member of her High School track team). I later realize it was Rodney and in fact I even...

For the short time I knew Rodney, he was instrumental in changing my life for the better. In my profession (Executive Protection), I meet and have met people from all walks of life. Rodney stood out and above all of them. That includes presidents, congress persons, senators, governors, actors, actresses, entertainers, etc.. Rodney is the on that I will always remember and friendship, I will always cherish. There are, well were only two men on earth, that could ask me, " To walk through the...

R.I.P Mr. Swisher

Ran across Rodney's obituary this morning, was completely shocked. To the Swisher family my sincere condolences. Rodney was a great man.

To: The Swisher Family. I met Rev. Swisher in 2009, when I was bodyguarding one of Austin's other great persons. I have been out of the country since June 2016. I just learned of my great friend's departure. Rev. Swisher was and is a truly great man, friend and pastor/reverend. I truly will miss him. If I can ever be of assistance to his family, please contact me.

Sincerely,
Anthony Gibbs

Rev Swisher will be missed by our House-Medearis family. We truly loved his caring and God driven ways. A life well lived.

To The Swisher Family,

I was sadden to hear about my friend. He was truly a Man Of God and I know where he is right now. Rodney and I attended Elementary (Sims), Jr. High School (Allan) and High School (Johnston) together. He was always the same when you met him. Question comes to mind "why did God take him". Gods anwser was he was ready! And he belongs to me.

Know that I'm lifting up each of you in prayer and will not say "I'm sorry for your loss", because he is not...

Carrie, I am so saddened to hear of your lost. May God comfort you in this difficult time. God is your source of strength. Praying for you.

Last time we were with your father.

We are praying with you and for you, Courtney and Eric Banks. Your family hurts when you hurt. Remember God has no pain he cannot bring comfort.
