Just shocked and saddened to hear of Rod's passing. He was a neighborhood kid and classmate, so we spent so much time together. First in school as classmates, then in football, as college roommates for a year, then spending four months together in the same unit at Ft. Rodney was so polite to me. He would always ask me how my Mom and Dad were doing. No one ever did that but Rodney always did. He will be missed but never forgotten. R I P
