Not sure what to say?

Thank you Debbie for your beautiful memory of Rodney Wertz. You probably knew him longer than I did. His parents raised him right. He never deviated from what is wholesome and ethical in his profession, family life or business dealings. He lived his faith. Thank you again.

Thank you Edith for such lovely words. He loved his profession and caring for his patients. I heard him say many times if I were to do it over again, Pulmonary is what he would choose. No one knows the confidential relationship Dr. Wertz had with his patients. We are learning about my husband as his patients express their sorrow. Thank you for letting us know how much you appreciated Dr. Wertz.

Thank you so much Dr. Wheeler for such a beautiful tribute you wrote in the obituary guest book on line, published by the Avalanche Journal of Lubbock, Texas. I am sharing your words on Facebook so family and friends of Dr. Rodney Wertz can read your thoughts of their son, brother, and friend. He lived his faith, even though he did not preach it. Thank you again for such a precious tribute.

You didn't criticize or judge others, but rather held others in higher esteem than yourself. You taught us, not only how to be better physicians and health care workers, but also how to be better people....

My deepest condolences to the Wertz family may God give you strength during this difficult time. Norma Mata and Ceprecia Crow

My heart is heavy after reading that Dr.Rodney Wertz had passed away. My deepest condolences to the Wertz family. May God give you the Strength and Peace you all need to get through this time. Dr. Wertz was my asthma doctor for 20 years. He helped me to understand my condition. Dr. Wertz presence in my life meant more than he would have ever known. Dr. Wertz was a man that touched so many peoples lives. I can hear him asking me now. What would you like for me to do for you today? This was a...

To Mae and Family, my deepest sympathies to you all. Dr. Wertz taught me so much about Pulmonary Medicine while I was working at Covenant Medical Center 1993-2006,but more importantly, he taught compassion and dignity for human life. When we talked about "school", we laughed, both at Loma Linda at the same time! He a Medical Student, myself, a Respiratory Therapist student! Who would know, our paths crossed 39 years ago. When Dr. Wertz got "tickled", we all did. What a gracious human being he...
