Rodolfo "Rudy" S. Quintanilla went to meet the Lord on August 14, 2018 at the age of 82. Born on December 8, 1935 in Ecleto, Texas to Vicente and Erlinda (Salinas) Quintanilla; he was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Dora. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Elena V. Quintanilla; children: Rudy V. Quintanilla Jr, Irma Q. Perez, Larry (Catherine) Quintanilla, Sandra Q. (Samuel) Vilo; grandchildren: Celavi Q. (James) Longoria, Amber Q. (Aaron) Jones, Kimberly D. Vilo; great-grandchildren, Austin and Aaron Jones; siblings, Vicente Jr. and Lily Quintanilla, and numerous other relatives. Rudy retired from Kelly AFB after 35 years and continued providing income tax services for many years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother and will be missed dearly. The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00p.m. Service will continue at the funeral home on Friday, August 17, 2018 with a 10:00 a.m. Chapel service and entombment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery II.
