Rodrigo "Roger" Guevara

RODRIGO "ROGER" GUEVARA, 71, died Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Dallas, Texas, he was a machinist for 35 years, employed with ITT, American Hoist and retired from Tokheim. He was a member of Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and he loved fishing, hunting, boating and cooking Sunday dinner. Survivors include wife, Catarina Guevara of Fort Wayne; daughters, Lisa (Noe) Olivas, and Julia (Santiago) Vasquez both of Fort Wayne; sons, Leroy Guevara of Fort Wayne, Daniel Guevara of North Dakota, and Robert "Steve" (Julie) Guevara of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Catrina Stewart, Alena Sheets, Seleena Brita, Alisha White, Annalicia Spillers, Sereena Monhollen, Noemi Olivas, Diane Olivas, Melina Guevara, A. Ruben Olivas, Anthony Guevara, Augustine Vasquez, Lorenzo Guevara, and Emilio Guevara; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sylvia Moreno of San Francisco, CA, Lucia Tully, and Patricia Guevara both of Fort Wayne; brothers, Ernest Guevara, Humberto Guevara both of Fort Wayne, Adrian Guevara of Cabin Creek, WV, Arthur Guevara, and Bill Guevara both of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by his two brothers; and a sister. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 1122 S. Clinton St. with calling one hour prior. Calling is also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Mungovan & Sons Memorial Chapel, 2114 S. Calhoun St. with Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
