Not sure what to say?

Mr. Asiala was a creative, challenging and inspiring science teacher in seventh grade, which is not an easy audience to teach. He made lessons an adventure, fun, and something new every time. He never was without his blazing smile. It was impossible not to be infected with his enthusiasm, and though I ultimately did not go the science route in my life, I always tried to read about science, trying to keep up with what was going on and subscribing to such science publications that I could...

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Roger. Gorden and Roger were friends of ours during high school. He always had a welcoming smile whenever we met over the years. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I knew him as "Mr. Asiala." His pure joy in teaching made science an adventure to me that it has never ceased to be since his class in seventh grade. I am so sorry he is gone, but he is not forgotten, especially not that smile that accompanied every lesson.

I knew him as "Mr. Asiala." He was my seventh grade science teacher who taught me that science was a wonderful adventure and I have never stopped thinking of science as anything else. His pure joy in teaching was felt everyday in class and made school an even better experience in those weird junior high years. I am so sorry he is gone. Not forgotten.

Roger was a great friend of mine at Cadillac, Michigan. Also played tennis with him. So sorry

Dear Mona and family: so sorry to hear about Roger's passing.....such a great man and respected educator.....we are in Florida and will be thinking of you during this most difficult time.

Mona, Alan, Jill, Thomas and the Asiala Family:
I am truly sorry for your loss.
I have known Roger for more than 40 years and have always liked and respected him as an awesome educator. Susie and I have thoroughly enjoyed his presence as a Loons Dugout Dude. Roger will most certainly be missed. RIP Roger!

Mona and kids, I was deeply saddened read of Roger's passing. He was always a joy to listen to and speak with. I was lucky enough to have him as a teacher, coworker, and call him "friend". I always was happy see him and Mona, after his retirement, out on the town. Most recently at the Loon's game on his birthday last year! He inspired me to work hard in mathematics, and learn words like Great Rhombicosidodecahedron.(7th grade @ Northeast)
May you all find peace in knowing he is...

I was so saddened by the news of Roger's passing. He taught me more than he knew. Not only math and science, but respect and by the example of what a great guy he really was. I spent a life applying what I learned from him and like many, I will always be grateful and remember him fondly. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. May we all meet again.
