Roger James Barrera

Roger James Barrera born on May 27, 2018 went to be with the Lord and to reunite with his son, and fellow Veteran, Adrian Barrera and his parents. Patrick and Theresa Barrera.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 61 years, Olivia Rodriguez Barrera; sons, Roger Barrera Jr., Benjamin Barrera, and Rodrick Barrera and wife Gloria; brother, Patrick B. Barrera Jr.; grandchildren; Jessica, Olivia, and Andrea; great-grandchildren: Jeremiah, Adrian, Adrianne, Zendaya, Yahel and Camilla; numerous extended family and friends.  He will also be dearly missed by his daughter in law, Lupe Barrera.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with the recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 P.M. in the Hillcrest Chapel.  On Wednesday, May 23, 2018 funeral home will open at 8:00 A.M. and procession will depart Hillcrest at 11:00 A.M. for 11:30 A.M. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Paul Catholic Church.  Interment to follow with Military Honors at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
