I´m deeply saddened to learn of Roger´s passing. He and Maudie always treated me with kindness and respect. When I was a young reporter, they understood the boundaries between friendship and the job I had to do. Roger was a man of great courage who I liked and respected a great deal. My deepest condolences to Roge and all who loved Roger and Maudie.
