Roger Walter Bond III

Roger was a brilliant guy ,and always had an upbeat attitude at the 327th Signal battalion at Ft Bragg ,NC Just a wonderful human being!!!

I was Roger's friend in the Army in Korea and just found out about this via Facebook. I am devastated and heartbroken, as I'm sure the rest of the family is. Lisa - please contact me.

To Jeanie, Valerie and Lisa: I am the daughter of Esther E. Taylor and I have known you guys all my life. Peppi was a kid like myself, but the moment I saw his picture I knew he was. My heart goes out to the family, and I am so sorry that I have not been in touch since Mother's passing. May peace be with you at this time of sorrow.

Dear Bond Family,

My poor words cannot express my sorrow at the loss of Roger from this family. God has transplanted this loved one to the heavenly garden in the realm where minds have no access. Roger came forth to this earthly existence by the behest of God and to God he has returned.

We last saw him only a short year ago. Although he is now absent to us, we hold him and the family in our hearts and we supplicate God to overshadow Roger and his family with munificent...

My sincere condolences to the Bond family.I went to University School with Roger where we became good friends. I have not seen him in many,many, years but what I still see in my mind's eye is his smile. Roger will be sorely missed. On behalf of the Class of 1979,we wish the family God's grace.You are all in our prayers.

Roger was just such a wonderful man. He was a great listener and a dear friend. I will miss the amazing stories he told and the times we spent just sitting in silence that we shared.

I will miss the 30+ text messages per day and the many, many phone calls to tell me fun and random facts! I just miss my friend.

Words cannot describe the emptiness I feel in knowing that we will no longer have these times together.
