Mr. Bonney was indeed a wonderful man and role model for me as a teenager growing up in Jackson in the late 1970's-early 1980's. As the music director at Central Wesleyan Church, and a musician himself, he encouraged me to play my flute at Sunday services, and provided invaluable coaching and feedback.
